In both 2015 & 2016 we spent over $20,000 (over $40,000 total) on vet bills alone!
That's not including food and shelter for over 350 cats and dogs. We also provide emergency vet care to stray animals. Sometimes we even provide emergency vet care when owners cannot be there for their beloved pets (car accidents, etc).
We do not offer financial assistance to companion animals but we do offer owner surrender for those willing.
We are always willing to show you our bank statements and vet bills. The majority of our donations go directly into our vet accounts but sometimes we have to use donations to purchase supplies, especially food and housing supplies (houses, kennels, straw, cedar chips, bedding, etc).
Where does your money go if you do not specify? Almost always to the vet bill, which is a weekly cost. All animals are given whatever vet care they need at the time of intake. Some need little, some need a LOT, but all are treated with whatever is recommended by our vet. If you want to help a specific animal or a specific area (food, supplies, sponsor) just make a note on your donation and we will be sure your donation is allocated as you direct.
NO AMOUNT IS ever TOO SMALL
