Surrender a Pet
If you have a pet to surrender, we require a complete owner surrender form to be completed and signed. We require copies of vet records or authorization made to the veterinary clinic on our behalf (you must call your vet and give them permission for us to access all records).
If you have a mom and puppies, we require the mom to be surrendered with the puppies. If you are unwilling to surrender the mom, we require you to deliver the puppies to the vet clinic where you will have the mom spayed for a $50 fee. We require ALL puppies to be surrendered (not given away to friends or family) and we will refuse our assistance if you do not comply with this request. We will ensure that both the mom and the puppies receive ALL appropriate veterinary care, including full vaccinations to protect them from highly contagious puppy diseases and spay/neuter.
Most of the adults, seniors, mom/puppies we accept eventually go to our rescue partners, who handle the screening process of adopters to ensure proper match of dogs/cats to families. These are groups that we have successfully and happily worked with since 2017:
